Tower Bridge (inside and out)
These are a few pictures that I took back in 2006 (and forgot all about). I thought they may be of interest as they show the inside workings of a famous bridge that must have been photographed a billion times from the outside.

These flowers were blooming a month ago on the roof top of my supermarket, same level as my apartment. The blooms have already faded ...

Roadtrip 5: Çıralı 1(3) May-08
Çıralı is located in the region of ancient province of Lycia, next to Olympos, hellenistic town (2nd cent. BC), which is know of the monstrous creature called Chimera.
'The Chimera is depicted as a three-formed beast; a lion in front, a python in its hinder parts, goatlike in the middle. Certain writers on natural history say it isn't an animal, but a mountain in Cilicia, which in some places feeds lions and goats, in some burns, in some is full of snakes. Bellerophon made this habitable, whence he is said to have "killed Chimaera". '

Kasteel Keukenhof
