Pikes Peak
Pikes Peak (formerly Pike's Peak, see below) is a mountain in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, 10 miles (16 km) west of Colorado Springs, Colorado, in El Paso County. It is named for Zebulon Pike, an explorer who led an expedition to the southern Colorado area in 1806. At 14,115 feet (4302 m), it is one of Colorado's 54 fourteeners. Pikes Peak has been designated a National Historic Landmark.

Blutenburg Palace (Schloss Blutenburg)
"In the 1530s, Duke Albrecht III had the "Pluedenburg" on the River Würm, around 10 kilometres away from his residence, converted into a country seat. In 1467 his successor, Duke Sigismund, abdicated in favour of his brother Albrecht IV and withdrew to Blutenburg, which he extended from 1488 with a church beautifully furnished in the late Gothic style. Duke Sigismund died at Blutenburg in 1501. The present complex still reflects the structure of the 15th-century moated castle with its main building - where Duke Albrecht III lived with Agnes Bernauer - surrounding wall with towers and spacious outbuildings, which are dominated by the church."

Butterfly Pavilion
These are Pics from the Butterfly Pavilion in the Botanical Garden which belongs Nymphenburg Castle. I visited this place on March, 12 2004 and took about 155 pictures. After sorting out the duplicates and the pics which were out of focus these are the remainers.
