I finally had a Saturday off.
So, we drove up to Wausau to have my eyes examined and while waiting for the appointment time, we drove up Rib Mountain for a bit of hiking.

Around Delftse Poort
This Wikipedia Article is only available in Dutch but I take it that this tower is the tallest skscraper in the Netherlands, built in 1991, 151 meters high and 41 floors.
It's located at the Central Station (Rotterdam Centraal)
Het Gebouw Delftse Poort in het centrum van Rotterdam is het hoogste kantoorgebouw en de hoogste wolkenkrabber van Nederland. Het is in 1991 gebouwd, is 151 m hoog en heeft 41 verdiepingen. Het is ontworpen door Abe Bonnema.
Het gebouw staat aan het Weena 505, naast het Centraal Station. Dit station, dat officieel de naam Rotterdam Centraal heeft, werd in 1954 gebouwd ter vervanging van het station Delftsche Poort.
De verzekeringsmaatschappij Nationale-Nederlanden is de hoofdgebruiker van het gebouw.

Zandvoort
Zandvoort is a municipality and a town in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland.
Zandvoort is one of the major beach resorts of the Netherlands; it has a long sandy beach. It is also the site of the country's most important automobile racing circuit, Circuit Zandvoort.
There is a nudist beach: from the center 2 km to the south, ca. 6 cafés/restaurants; it extends several kilometers further south.

London Wetlands Centre
The centre is 0.75 mile south of Hammersmith bridge. It's amazing to see how a few old gravel pits could be converted into a haven for wildfowl in the middle of a major city.
